Gronow

The forename Gronow (Gronow Thomas [903]) is, to say the least, unusual. It would appear to be a family name and also a placename in Poland. But I haven't, as yet, found anyone else who was given this as a forename.

Having said that, there seem to be a lot of Gronow Thomas' in Glamorgam in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Surely not coincidences! I shall be posting details of other Gronow Thomas records that I have found in dure course, with their links if I can find any.
